Georg Mähring trained as a cabinetmaker in England and the United States. After travelling and learning in workshops around the world he returned to his home country Austria in 2005. Georg Mähring has run his own business as a furniture maker since 2006, enthusiastically passing on his knowledge in the form of traditional 3-year apprenticeships.

In his workshop in eastern Styria, Georg Mähring designs and makes unique pieces of furniture according to customer specifications: locally harvested wood combined with timeless and modern design and perfect craftsmanship are self-evident. Georg Mähring also works on large-scale interior design projects in collaboration with architects.
