More than 200 guests gathered on the evening of 11 July at Frischeparadies ThomĂĽller to exchange ideas while enjoying fine food and great music. The event is an annual highlight for all Full and Premium Members of Creative Industries Styria. Long-standing cooperation partners as well as personalities from politics and business were also among the invited guests.
Over antipasti and grilled specialities, guests networked, discussed current challenges in the creative industries, and bid farewell: Eberhard Schrempf, who has served as Managing Director of Creative Industries Styria continuously since its founding in 2007, will retire in September 2025. In his farewell speech, he urged a critical eye on the organisation’s future development and strongly recommended building on the foundation of the past 18 years.
On this evening, video messages from around the world were shown in tribute to the outgoing director’s extensive networking work within the UNESCO Cities of Design, played before the assembled audience. Long-time companions and the CIS team also personally thanked Schrempf for their collaboration.
