It can be used as a bag and backpack, multifunctional, tear-resistant, washable and made in Austria: the BEUTEBEUTEL, the Graz farmers’ market bag.
In a Call for Designers the Department of Economic and Tourism Development of the City of Graz and the Creative Industries Styria were looking for innovative concepts for a bag. It should be ideal for purchases on farmers markets and offer a sustainable alternative to plastic bags: It can be used as a bag and backpack, multifunctional, tear-resistant, washable and made in Austria. From all submissions, Florian Hazmuka from the label mapbagrag was selected. The bag developed by him is reusable, tear-resistant, washable, easy to shoulder and easy to store in the bicycle basket. The farmer’s market bag is available in three different designs for 39 euros at:

The idea or the first prototype for the BEUTEBEUTEL was created in July 2016 as part of a future workshop. Accompanied by the agency cardamom, representatives from agriculture and creative industries were invited to a design thinking process.
