SFG Promotion Programme
Einfalls!Reich / Enterprising
An initiative of the Styrian Business Promotion Agency SFG to support regional enterprises and the creative industries.
Newly adapted promotional landscape
The significance of the Styrian creative industry also shows in the promotional programme “Einfalls!Reich – The promotion of creative impulses,” which, for the first time, admits people active in the creative sector itself as recipients of support.
New promotional scenery for the creative industry
Due to the initiative of Dr. Christian Buchmann, member of Styria`s Provincial Government for Economy and Innovation, the promotional programme has undergone a generous revision and “re-launch.” The target group has been enlarged and promotions are available for the creative sector; from assessing potentials to the development of strategies and production of prototypes as well as series production readiness and marketing. Therewith, the Department of Economy sets a strong signal to the creative scenery to assert a successful position on the market with innovations.
Promotions directly to the creative sector
Already last year, “Einfalls!Reich – The promotion of creative impulses” turned out to be a very successful project with a sum of almost 2 million Euro half of the costs for 73 projects with a total volume of approximately 4 million Euro were financed. ”650.000 Euro of EU means could thus be invested in Styria”, emphasizes Dr. Burghard Kaltenbeck, managing director of the Styrian Business Promotion Agency SFG.
The target group of the promotion programme will be enlarged in the near future. The decisive innovation will then allow for persons active in the creative sector itself to apply for promotion provided that they purchase services from a Styrian industrial, productive or counselling enterprise in order to develop a prototype or achieve series-production readiness of a product.
Furthermore, companies are supported which plan to assess their internal creative potential or the potential for a cooperation with the creative sector respectively. “We thus set a signal that creative entrepreneurs are important players in the Styrian economic scene,” states Kaltenbeck.
