Out of 209 submissions 55 nominees were chosen to be presented and awarded at the Green Panther Gala 2012. This year the event not only celebrates midsummer on the 21st of June but will once again display a rich workshow of Styrian creative industries. The awarding event is yearly organized by the advertising section of the Styrian Chamber of Commerce and Creative Industries Styria. "The award excels both creatives and clients", states Heimo Lercher, chairman of the advertising section.

Styrian submissions will be prized in the categories "campaign", "outdoor advertising", "print media communications", "motion pictures", "direct marketing", "event", "photography", "outside the box" and "internet". Austrian competitors are invited to enter submissions for "print design" and "corporate design".
For the fourth time, young talents will be prized with the "Young Creatives Award".
